Caring for Life Education (CLE) is ACTAsia’s premier humane education program for schools in Asia. The research-based curriculum helped ACTAsia be recognized as one of the 10 most influential organisations in China at the 8th China Urbanisation International Summit. First implemented in 2012, CLE helps elementary-school children develop compassion and a sense of responsibility towards people, animals, and the environment. CLE’s innovative and engaging format has let the program grow in popularity; as of June, 2015, it is taught as part of school curriculum in 94 schools and has reached more than 14.000 urban and rural school children.
